The health advisory released on Monday by the ministry has told what the elderly should and should not do to avoid infection with this virus.
Aged people have been advised to exercise regularly at home, adopting all possible measures to prevent infection.
Also, while at home, to reduce the risk of infection, they should wash hands and face with soap at regular intervals.
Strict adherence to counseling not to get out of the house.
While doing this, the elders have been told not to meet the people coming from outside.
If it is very important to meet visitors then it will be safe to meet by making a distance of at least one meter.
The elderly should take fresh nutritious diet made at home.

Surgery such as cataracts, knee transplants are currently advised to be avoided.
The elderly should not go to people suffering from colds, coughs or fever.
The elderly should immediately contact the nearest medical service if they have fever, cold, or difficulty in breathing.
In fact, these advisories have been issued for the elderly in view of the significantly higher number of elderly people in cases of death due to corona virus infection so far. In view of increasing scope of infection, the consultation issued by the Ministry states that due to excess age in the elderly, the risk of infection increases due to comparatively reduced disease resistance of the body. In such a situation, there is a need to take special care of the elderly.
